Trans7 is one of the private TV station in Indonesia formerly known as TV7. Trans 7 was established under the authorization of the Office of Trade and Industry,Central Jakarta, with a number 809/BH.09.05/III/2000, where most of its shares owned by Kompas Gramedia Group (KKG). TRANS 7 born as a private station that presents the tv shows that more priority to intelligence, sharpness, warmth full of entertainment, as well as an active personality.
Starting from the strategic partnership between the Group and the Group of Kompas Gramedia (KKG), on August 4, 2006, The Group, through PT Trans Corpora officially purchased 49% shares of PT Duta Visual Nusantara Tivi Tujuh. Then re-launch of Trans 7 took place on December 15, 2006, the date is set as the Trans7's birthday.
