With the motto "Milik Kita Bersama", the concept of this tv station is not much different from other private stations. Trans TV is a subsidiary of PT Trans Corpora, with its Head Office located in Studio Trans, Road Captain Pierre Tendean, South Jakarta.
Trans TV obtained a broadcasting license in October 1998, after Trans TV passed the eligibility test conducted by a team of inter-departmental government. So since December 15, 2001, TRANS TV began broadcasting officially.
